My Journey With Melanoma 2018

I was diagnosed with Melanoma in 2006, I had loads of surgery and eventually got the all clear.

Ten years later I found a lump under my right arm, There was no pain but went to the doctors to have it checked out.

The Doctor was not sure what it was so but given my past he measured the lump and then referred me to the dermatologist in Milton Keynes.

The scan showed a lump and a dark shadow which showed up on the scan.

Two week later I went back for a another scan, I was starting to get a bit worried.

Deep down I had this strange feeling that the cancer had come back.

I went back to the dermatologist in Milton Keynes who decided to take a biopsy.

The waiting game started this time I had to wait two weeks but it felt like two months.

I went back to the dermatologist department in Milton Keynes, they sat me down and told me it was melanoma cancer.

My whole life was about to change again, I had an idea what was about to come and I didn’t know if I could be as strong as I was last time.
