Melanoma Cancer

How 53-year-old retail worker became one of the first NHS patients to be saved by ‘miracle’ cancer treatment

This is the treatment I had, The side-effects where exactly the same.

You should have 4 cycles every 3 weeks But I had 3 because the side-effects was getting too much for my liver and it was making me very ill.

I was put on steroids to bring my liver back down to normal, I ended up being on steroids for a long time then I was put on a another drug called ‘Mycophenolate 500mg’  which I had to take every day.

I am still on steroids and still have to take the Mycophenolate until my next scan and see what the results are.
