Astra Zeneca Vaccination 2021

Saturday 6th February 2021, I was booked in for my Astra Zeneca jab @ Water Eaton Health Centre, Bucks.

When I arrived, the staff were showing me where to park. When I got out of the car, I went to the door and a nurse noted my name and asked where my Doctors practice was. I asked her if I could take some pictures for my blog, she said absolutely. 

I was then showed to the vaccination room, where there were two other nurses, so I started to chatted to them. They were all very kind and pleasant to speak to. One of the nurses got the needle and placed it into my left arm, gave me my jab, then placed a cotton wool pad over the needle mark. 

I went home but later that night, I woke up at 2a.m., I had a very bad reaction from the jab.

I woke up in the middle of the night with a massive headache and my heart was racing.

Trying to get up out of bed to go to the toilet was a struggle, because i was in so much pain.

I read the leaflet they gave me and it had flu symptoms on it and other side-effects, so I took two paracetamol. 

I fill a bit better now but still not a 100%, I will give it a couple of days to see what I’m like.
