Lasted Update On My Melanoma Cancer Journey 2018

Lasted Update On My Melanoma Journey 2018

21/2/2018

I had an appointment at Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford for a bone scan at 2pm, I had work before my appointment as I am still trying to live a normal life, as always I was feeling a little anxious about what was going to happen, I finished work at 12 and made my way to Oxford with my Mum as I was unsure if I be ok to drive home on my own.

When arriving at Nuffield Orthopaedic centre my mind was racing, the stuff was very good and after a short wait we made our way to the bone scan room, the Machine was like something out of Star Trek.

The scan went fine and I was  sent on my way to face the rush hour traffic on the way home, I didn’t get home until 5pm, drained and tired I had an early night hoping I might get some sleep (this wasn’t the case and had another restless night)

The next day I had to do it all again, started work at 7am then finished at 12pm pick my mum up and then head from Milton Keynes to Churchill hospital in Oxford to get my results, again I was very anxious leading up to my results, when the Doctor read the results out to me I was relieved to find out they come back all clear.

This made the drive home in the rush time hour traffic that little bit more bearable.
